Minister’s address on Civilian Oversight at Olive Convention Centre in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal

On the 11 November 2014, the Minister of Police, Honourable Nkosinathi Nhleko addressed stakeholders from various organisations on the issues of civilian oversight. The event was hosted by Civilian Secretariat for Police and was held at Olive Convention Centre in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

The purpose of this event was to communicate the role and functions of the Civilian Secretariat for Police (CSP). In his address, the Minister stated, “we need to form civilian oversight body structures that will promote and support public safety and protection in our communities”.
